Train journey from Paris to Barcelona

Once on our nice spacious plane (with an empty se at next to me!), a couple of hours in we enjoyed a 'supper' which was actually a full meal. There were a few new movies to choose from, so I started with HUGO. A cute story if you haven't seen it. Also watched Sherlock Holmes 2 which was also worth watching. Unfortunately there was little sleep had. And with little sleep 2 nights earlier, the train ride I'm currently embarking on while typing, this is going to be a LONG one as we don't arrive in Barcelona until 10pm.

Our plane was late leaving Kuala Lumpur but I thought we'd make up time along the way, being that the plane averaged 890km per hour! Sadly, I was wrong. We arrived only 20 minutes late, but we taxied to the terminal for a while and then had to get on a bus to be driven to arrivals. We arrived in terminal 1, but needed to take a aero-shuttle train to terminal 2 to validate our Eurail train pass and find where our train left from. We collected our bags at about 8am, and for some saving grace reason, the 8.30am train was late and we managed to catch it. The fun didn't stop there; as Justin came back from locking our suitcases, he asked, "Do you remember the combination, I can't get it to open?". Doh. (I thought this was supposed to be a holiday, I've had less stress writing reports...) Have no fear, yes I did remember. (Thanks Mum for passing on the ability to retain copious amounts of minor details ;) )

So now to enjoy the French countryside and start snapping pics. (finally)

Enjoy a few pics below of the countryside between Paris and Barcelona. We stopped in a gorgeous little town called Montpellier whee most of these photos are taken. The funny part was that after reading there was somewhere to leave your bags at the station, there wasn't so we has to pull our suitcases around the town for 3 hours. Wasn't so much the sight, but the noise of the wheels rolling along old cobblestones.
