Kuala Lumpur

So, I'm sitting at the KLIA transit train station waiting for a train because when we arrived last night we managed to get on the wrong bus between LCCT and KLIA. We ended up at at train station instead of the airport last night. Instead of taking the express train to KL Sentral we have to buy new tickets back to the transit station, exit, then re-enter using the ticket we bought last night, with the possibility of having to wait another 30 minutes if we don't get back though the gates and onto same train again, continuing to KL Sentral. It doesn't pay to make quick decisions on very little sleep. (do you hear me Justin? I need time to think!)

At least I have a mission when I get to town. I need a pair of flat black shoes, find our hotel for the journey out, and then drink many mango smoothies! Mmmmm. For the sake of NZ$6.00, why didn't we just get on the express train? Definitely brings meaning to 'learn from your mistakes'. Do you hear me kids? Make mistakes and learn from them.

After arriving in KL Sentral, we enjoyed a Mango Melody smoothie, something we'd been hanging out for. We found where we are staying on the way home so decided we could head to Times Square to go shopping, after all, i needed a new pair of shoes ;) also managed to get a camera iPad converter. Phew.

A swim in the pool with a poolside drink and a short nap later, it was o ff for our 'last meal' before heading to the airport for a 13 hour flight.

So long Kuala Lumpur, we'll see you again soon. I'll be back shoe shops, don't your worry.
