Team Edward or team Jacob?

This just makes me laugh every time I see it!

I should have dressed up for the occasion I think...
I also felt very short until I met The Queen.

The scream walk was quite good, I ended up laughing at all the school girls screaming.
Next we visited Kensington Palace. While inside there was another thunderstorm, with hail this time. We were quite cosy in our palace, I mean in THE palace. Not sure I'd like to have my own palace...it would cost a fortune to heat, my housework skills are currently under par, and I think I'd lose people all the time.

Just in time for another downpour, we visited Buckingharm Palace. Here's a photo of 'that' balcony.

We were there just in time to see the guards change. Oh, and there was another guy with a really big gun!

The only good thing about thunderstorms is the colour of the sky afterwards. This is looking down The Mall.

This is the fountain outside the palace.
We also managed to fit in a visit to see 'London Bridge'.

Here's the freaky part of Friday.
After warming up back at our hotel, we ventured out for a 'Jack the Ripper' tour. The guide was dressed up in costume and another character kept meeting us on our journey to tell his tale. Apparently we were being filmed on the tour as part of a BBC documentary so I'll have to see if we are famous. I won't hold my breath. It was a very informative tour and the pictures made everything seem so much more real. On a slight tangent, we did walk down the road that was used to film the scene in the Harry Potter movie when Harry mispronounces Diagon Alley and ends up somewhere dark and scary.
This was our host John.

Another late night but lots of fun had by all.
